One-Off Pieces

Original artwork by Third Eye Designs are considered "one-off pieces," meaning once they're sold, they're gone! Art for me is conquering a challenge (it's why I chose to create art using a very tedious and difficult process). Once a difficult piece is complete, I've overcome it and it's on to the next challenge. I hardly ever make multiples of my original pieces just because by the second time around, it becomes boring for me since I've already conquered it. However, that doesn't mean I absolutely will not make a repeat in the future. When enough time passes, sometimes I make repeats of my previous works, but that is solely on my own accord.

There was a period of time in my life when I created artwork to please the masses and did it for profit. It eventually became a chore for me towards the point where I quit art for years. I never want to get to that point again, as art is my first love, so I have to stay true to my vision.

One-off original pieces are time-consuming, detailed, and meticulous. I believe when that much love and time is put into each piece, good luck and fortune is infused in it. That being said, I do not create prints of my originals. By creating prints of a one-off original, some of the good fortune will be lost from the original. The only exception is if the original has not been sold to somebody else (i.e: if I keep the original for myself, I will create prints of it).
